Gong Xi Fa Choi!!!....Today is chinese new year...It's always a good time for the family and relatives to meet together. As Philip's parents are one of the oldest in the family, so all the relative came to have dinner in their house....


Me and Yosi and the babbies in our tummies...She is 4.5 months pregnant...me 2.5 months...Gong Xi Fa Choi everyone from 4 of us!!!












As a tradition everyone who's married have to give 'Angpau', a red envelope with money inside to those who are single....This is our first time to give angpau...Here are pictures of Philip giving angpau...He teased everyone hahaha...

Happy valentine everyone....I'm very happy today...I went for my 2nd prenatal check up...This time I went to see a new Dr in Pantai Indah Kapuk Hospital which is recommended by Yosi, because it's much closer to our house. After waiting for 1 hour, finally we got to see the Dr. The Dr is actually a christian, a very calm Dr which make me glad to have the prenatal check up with him. This time the USG shown our baby much clearer, we could see the baby's hands and feet moving up and down..Agh!!!..We were very happy and excited. Philip asked the Dr the USG print out, he actually bought me a baby photo frame for my valentine's gift, which fit the USG print out perfectly....

Jakarta Flooding!!!

Flood...Jakarta had been flooding since 2nd of february 2007...I never seen flood as worse as this...it's affected 75% of the whole city...It's a national tragedy, cnn reported about 340.000 people are being evacuated from their homes...Water is up to 13 feet (3.96 meters) deep in some areas. Lots of area have no electricity, phone lines and internet are being cut off. It's also hard to find clean water during this times...The rainforcast for the next 10 days worries everyone...

Well in this kind of situation, I'm so grateful that our place is safe from flood. Being the only 25% are that is not affected, our church work together to send some help like crakers, waffers, UHT milk. Since sunday our house had been place to store those foods to send out to the effected area. This is the only thing that we can do during this time. Seeing people on disater through the news every hour had left us helpless.

God have mercy upon Jakarta !!!
